1. How do vintage sizes compare to modern sizes?
Vintage sizes can differ significantly from modern sizing. For example, a Large from 1995 might fit more like today’s XL, while a Large from 2002 could be closer to a modern Medium. We provide both the original labeled size and a suggested modern equivalent to help you find the best fit.
2. Why might my vintage item fit differently than expected?
Over time, vintage fabrics can shrink or stretch due to wear and washing. We carefully measure each item to give you the most accurate sizing information possible, but it’s always a good idea to compare our measurements with a similar piece you already own.
3. How do you measure your items?
We measure each garment flat across the chest, shoulders, and length (from the top of the shoulder to the hem). For pants, we measure the waist, inseam, and rise. All measurements are provided in inches and reflect the garment’s current state, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
